Canda 6-digit Code Data can overcome Canada's huge postal system

I was reading the other day about some postal facts about Canada. Did you know that Canada Post Corporation processed 11.6 billion parcels and messages, serving more than 31 million Canadians and over 1 million business and other institutions. Canada Post collects, processes, and delivers across the whole world as the second-largest country (of course Russia is much bigger). Canada Post delivers to over 14 million addresses in Canada and mail is forwarded t almost every country in the world! Canada Post delivers a ton of mail.

Now with that much mail being thrown around, it's important to keep in mind that there are people and businesses every day that waste their time and money because their mail goes to the wrong zip code? Zip Code Download has a product that can help with that called Canada 6-digit Coda Data. 6-digit Code Data lists out postal codes with a latitude and longitude coordinates. The list of Canadian postal codes is an up to date listing of all of the postal codes. Zip Code Download makes sure that their lists are updated every month so that you have the most recent postal updates for Canada. To purchase the Canada 6-digit Postal Code Data click here.

Stamp Prices To Increase

Stamp prices will increase 1 cent as well as some other price changes (see chart below). Over the past few years we have seen an increase in stamps and mailing costs as electronic emailing and transfers have become much more popular and we will continue to see the cost of snail mail stamps and supplies increase.

As the costs of snail mail increase it is important not to waste your money, time, and other resources on mail that may never get to your clients. To learn more about how you can save money and time on your mailings visit www.qualifiedaddress.com and zipcodedownload.com.

Changes will be effective May 12, 2008.

U.S. Post Office Creates Custom Zip Codes

A few months ago an article came out talking about how a shoe store has their own zip code. I though it was a joke at first, but as I read I realized it wasn't. A recent shoe company, Saks Fifth Avenue, in New York moved locations and got their very own zip code.

Now, I've heard of buildings getting their own zip code, mostly because they need it such as the World Trade Center Towers or the Empire State Building, but Saks Fifth Avenue is only 8,500 square feet, that is definitely a first.

The U.S. Postal Service has launched a pilot program for businesses to acquire vanity codes. It's neat to see the U.S. Post Office to think outside the box a little bit. The custom zipcodes give businesses another way to market their products.
